AVD First Time Setup – External Staff / Contractors

This short Guide will walk you through downloading and signing in to your new remote desktop application.

To begin, Click this link where you are redirected to a web page where the file is downloaded. (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2139369).

Now you will click on the downloaded file to open the application installation. This will open the below box. Click next to navigate through these options. And finish the install of the remote desktop App.

Once this application has been installed, please search for remote desktop in your windows start menu.  Open this up.

Once you open this application you will be met with the following screen, When prompted, choose to subscribe.

You will then log in with your Microsoft account.

You are now set up to use AVD.
